Buenos Aires, March 25 (NA) — One of the employees injured in the fire at a gas cylinder depot in the town of Mariano Acosta told neighbors who were assisting him that the fire broke out instantly when he and his colleagues connected an electric kettle near one of the tanks that was leaking, the Argentine News Agency reported. The fire originated in a depot located on Constituyentes Street, between Bustillo and Colombres. As a result of the incident, it was confirmed that three employees were injured and were taken to the Figueroa Paredes clinic in a private vehicle. At the hospital, it was confirmed that Víctor Hugo Tuller suffered second and third-degree burns to his face, while the other two colleagues, Diego Hernán Robledo and Raúl Oscar Cros, have burn injuries to various parts of their bodies. During the operation, the owner of the depot, identified as 48-year-old Óscar Adrián Benítez, stated that he is engaged in the purchase and resale of gas cylinders. The case is being handled by UFI 02 Morón.
